TEQBALL

Teqball comes from football and is played on a specially curved table called Teq. The game of Teqball is a Hungarian discovery that tests the concentration, skills and endurance of football players. It allows a player to touch the ball up to three times with any part of the body except the hand before passing it to the opponent's side.
Just for the needs of the development of Teqball, a domed geodesic tent with a diameter of 27 meters was built near the HUNGEXPO congress and exhibition center. The external sports dome was designed with a panoramic window that creates a unique atmosphere by letting daylight inside.
Of course, over 500 fans in the dome require efficient ventilation. The warm Hungarian summer is a challenge for air conditioning. In winter, in turn, there is a problem with the outer coating of the tent dew and a potential threat to the delicate structure during heavy snowfall. So the task for the designer of the ventilation and air conditioning system was unique.
